This is what 6 cords (12 truck loads) of Larch looks like. Larch is the most desired wood in our valley. It burns long and hot and clean. It is also hard to find. So far we have a steady supply directly from the log landing of a local logging contractor.

The price includes the wood being split and delivered locally! The firewood is cut to a maximum length of 18" or less, and split to usable size.

The official, standard firewood measure for a full cord of wood is:

Full cord = 4' X 4' X 8' = 128 cubic feet

Half cord (truck load) = 64 cubic feet

Truck Load Pictured Right: 6 foot box by 5 feet wide by 2.5 feet deep (minimum) = equals 75 cubic feet. Guaranteed more than a half cord per load.

Due To Demand: We still sell firewood by the box load for use on camping trips, or evenings in the backyard or by the fireplace. This amount is perfect for those who don't heat with wood, but want the occasional fire. You won't need an axe or saw!

The picture (to the left) shows a firewood box that holds 3 feet X 2 feet X 16 inches of seasoned ready to burn firewood.

This is an excellent amount of wood for a good weekend or more of burning. It is a fair bit of wood for most camping trips, and a much better purchase than several of the pre-packaged wood bundles found at gas stations. $25.00 - Per Firewood Box Load

Free Local Delivery Included

The local delivery area is the City of Penticton and these outlying areas: Naramata, Summerland, to the north of Penticton and OK Falls to the south of Penticton and anywhere in between (are considered within the local area and qualify for free delivery).

There will be an additional fuel surcharge for delivery to Apex Mountain, Oliver, Osoyoos and areas beyond our local areas noted above.

Delivery is to the local address and the firewood off-loaded only (not packed or stacked). Every attempt will be made to put the load as close as possible to the requested storage spot. Any additional carry, pack, or stack will be quoted by the hour.
